When a “go-green businessman” is sent to Latin America with orders to turn an abandoned sugar cane refinery into a state-of-the-art Ethanol plant, he discovers the plant is already occupied by a group of native workers who have lived off the land for generations and whose very survival is now threatened by the new owners.
